Social Skills Mentoring for Children & Teens

Building confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging

?מה כולל התהליך

Weekly one-on-one sessions for children and teens (ages 5–17) who face social challenges - like joining groups, making new friends, or maintaining relationships over time. Together, we’ll set personal social goals, practice communication, empathy, and conflict resolution, and strengthen confidence and social competence - step by step, in a safe and encouraging space. For many children and teens, the social world can be joyful but also challenging. Social skills mentoring provides a safe, encouraging space where children can better understand themselves, build confidence, and strengthen the social and emotional tools that help them connect, belong, and thrive. Let’s check together: - Does your child find it easy to join an existing group? - Do they initiate friendships with new kids easily? - Do they participate in activities and games as naturally as he would have want? If you answered “no” to some of these — we’re here to help. - And does your child wish to expand their circle of friends or social meetups? - Would they be interested in joining a group or one-on-one process that provides practical tools for social confidence and adjustment? If you answered “yes” to some of these — we’re here to help too. What the process includes? - Weekly one-on-one sessions (ages 5–17) - Working through real-life social situations - Practicing communication, empathy, conversation, and conflict resolution - Setting personal social goals and celebrating progress - Ongoing collaboration with parents in a supportive, non-judgmental way When this process can help? - When a child struggles to join groups or keep friendships - When sensitivity, anxiety, or new environments make social life harder - When parents want to help their child build confidence and social competence What you’ll gain? - Practical social and emotional tools - Improved confidence and communication - A stronger sense of belonging - at home, at school, and beyond
